![]() I would argue, just as no one has all the places built by users now cause they pick and choose what they want, so would it be with poses and Clothing. I would disagree with the assumption 'user made poses would overload a menu and render it unusable'. I don't know how easy or difficult that may be though. If Brian Shuster of Utherverse chooses to open source the failed Curio project as he has stated he is considering or selling it, I would think Gizmo could incorporate the system in to 3DX. The question though is how Gizmo might choose too. ![]() It is far more limited than Curio was, but may answer some of your questions. You could download it and check it out for free, and get an idea of what I'm talking about if you want too. I believe the next attempt Oasis is still up and running even though not being developed. Utherverse solved this problem in Curio many years ago, so I know it can be factually done. It will need to be if there was a clothing editor added too. Yes, the menu system would need to be redesigned. So it is not as easy and possible as you seem to think. It would also involve creating a system for us to be able to select the poses we want to appear in our menus. That would mean either having loads of updates and massive amounts of animation files stored in our game directories in our own computers or loads of file swapping going on while we play. Then there is also for each pose/animation to work where the pose involves 2 people both have to have that animation file in their own client computers. How much of a strain that would add to the data server would need to be considered. As there are several categories for poses it would need to be either one fairly complex database or several for each category. But that then can create other problems, to have that filter system new databases and scripting to read to and from those databases would need to be added. But yes a filter system where we got to pick poses we would use and those we selected only appeared in our menus would get over that. ![]() Without some sort of filtering system the menu would end up having thousands of poses that we have to try scroll through so finding particular ones we wanted to use would be a real effort and pain in the ass. And yes that would make it usable but is not what we have now. You seem to be referring to some sort of filtering, where we would get to choose which poses appear in our menus. What you seem to be talking about is not the menu system that we have in the game for poses now. Next week, we will examine what happens, if X thinks Z is acceptible but Y doesn't and how X and Z can appeal to a third party Q to make a ruling on appeal. Z must stand in a dressed position with their back turned during deliberations to avoid any Avi eye contact which may shame Y into a pity join.Īfter 2 minute timer for negotiations expires, another secret ballot vote is taken and if Z is found acceptable - may join. If both X and Z are for joing and Y isn't, there is a two minute timer for Z to make arguements to Y why they should be allowed to join. X then puts the notion for Z to join to Y and X, who both vote on Z to join by secret ballot. Z must check box Z accept the terms and conditions once negotiated. Z is notified there is a pending vote on Z's suitability. Y checks box X made two minute pitch on why Z should join. X must complete a manditory pop up box in 25 words or less. ![]() After all, negotiating with an unknown third to join an unknown second is an egregious unknown problem needing solved. To be fair, it should setup like a negotiations committee, complete with pitch, secret ballot and time to consider each change.
